The Breakfast Room
The perfect place to start the day. With views of Ben Nevis, Melantee and Carn Dearg – weather permitting. Our Scottish Breakfast menu is extensive and we do our best to source locally grown / produced ingredients to include: Fresh Seasonal Fruit/Fruit Compote, Yoghurt, Cereals, Porridge, Fruit Juice, Tea, Coffee and toast, a traditional cooked Scottish Breakfast of your choice from bacon, locally made sausage, black pudding, haggis, mushrooms, tomato and egg (fried, scrambled, poached, boiled) or maybe you would like to try Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
If you have a special dietary requirement please tell us when you make your reservation so we can obtain any items you would prefer such as vegetarian sausages, soya products, lactose free milk, gluten free bread etc. Because we don’t have a large demand for these items we prefer to get them in for you so they are fresh and if there is anything you particularly like we do our best to obtain it.
Torlundy House has been awarded the VisitScotland “Taste our Best” standard due to our usage of local Scottish Breakfast ingredients in our menu.
Seating is flexible to allow tables for 1 or up to 4 people, furnished with solid oak tables and chairs. A buffet is provided for you to serve yourself from a range of seasonal fruits, cereals and fruit juice. We also have a range of fruit and herbal teas as well as coffee and tea freshly made for you.
Cooked Breakfast is served at 7.45 am or 8.30 am to ensure we provide a freshly prepared breakfast to your requirements.
