Torlundy House is a family run Guest House just 3 miles from the centre of Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. With fabulous views of Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor, we make a great base for your visit to the area from where you can tour the West Highlands by car or even start your adventure up Ben Nevis using the North Face route or set off on your bike into a wealth of forest bike trails or along the Caledonian Canal.

Your hosts, Michael and Maxean, have been providing bed and breakfast in Torlundy for more than 10 years, and look forward to offering you a warm welcome with afternoon tea or coffee on arrival in our luxury residents lounge, and a comfortable contemporary style room. In the evening you can relax in the lounge to reflect on your day, plan the next day using the extensive information available and tour suggestions or simply read or play one of the games provided. Our guests have come to expect quality and the extra personal touches along with our renowned breakfast, breakfast menu (pdf)  using fresh and local produce all in front of the fantastic views of Ben Nevis.

We offer a range of rooms, all ensuite, to suit most needs including double, twin, triple, family and single. See our "Accommodation" page for full room details. We are happy to accommodate small groups up to six in number, but we do not accommodate stag or hen groups. The minimum age for children is 8 years

Many of our guests have said that they wished they had stayed more than a couple of nights because they missed so many sights. Others return year after year and still find something new each visit.

We are proud to be distinctly different to hotels, many of our guests prefer the more personal and relaxed atmosphere and genuine hospitality in a "home from home" without the formality and impersonal atmosphere many hotels have, and you can expect some touches rarely found in hotels, that we hope make you feel there is little else we could do for you. Perhaps the only thing you might miss is room service, but then with all there is to do why would you be in your room except to get a good nights sleep?
